I agree with other reviewers that the background color of LLBean’s birch comforter cover isn’t pleasing. In daylight, it’s a nondescript khaki. Under warm (2700 K) light, however, the color looks slightly peach and is much more attractive. The comforter cover is cotton, so it wrinkles, which shouldn’t have surprised me. I bought this particular pattern because its busy and irregular. I figured it would hide the inevitable hole my cats put in fabric while playing. Sure enough, there’s already a hole, but it’s hard to see, which means the cats won’t pick at it and enlarge it. The cats approve of the tight weave and smooth surface of the fabric. Perfect for play, they would say. I approve of the hidden buttons to close the comforter cover. I like this cover, but, because of the background color, I don’t love it.

Exactly what I wanted!!
Brought up to our mountain cabin and got it on the bed today. It is exactly why I hoped. Lots of colors but subtle so they don’t keep you awake at night. I also like that the background color is soft and not stark white.
It washed well and fit well and I am very happy. Now for some sheets! Also got the sage gauze blanket also 5 stars!

Edging not good
Pillow shams are nice fabric, color and design are pretty. The edging needs to be smaller or stiffer. It doesn’t stand up nice like it should, flaps down. Looks sloppy, not neat like I would prefer.
