Pleasant surprise
This sweater is fabulous. Warm, not heavy, very cuddly, longish with a nice drape. The catalogue picture hardly does it justice. I was very pleasantly surprised. I hope LL Bean brings it back again next year in more colors - it's a winner. I'm short, and was afraid it would be too long. It isn't.

Comfortable with excess pilling
Very comfortable and fits great but it started pilling the first time I wore it. The attached pictures show pilling after wearing it three times.

A favorite for me!
I love this sweater! Very cozy and relaxed - perfect for colder months! In the photos it looks a little more fitted, but on i'd say it is a lot more of a relaxed fit. I ordered the medium, and I'm 5'5", about 150lbs. The fabric quality is definitely there as well. I'm expecting to wear this one on repeat.

Some good, some not-so-good.
It is very soft, a beautiful white, plenty warm, a handsome shape. But, when I wore it for the first time, it began pilling as if I had worn it for months. And the sleeves would not stay pushed up, the elastic is so weak. I would never buy again.
