Gorgeous, but more wool than I could tolerate.
I did not realize that this beautiful sweater was 25% wool, but within a few minutes of trying it on, I knew. I bought the blue, a stunning color, and wish I could have kept it. The 2X was very flattering on, too.

Do some colors pill more than others?

Why continue to ship a sweater that pills?
I just received this sweater in navy. I am reading the reviews now and I am really upset with the comments from other buyers. The issue is the comments to the previous buyers concerns about pilling from LLBean. If you know the pilling is an issue, what have you done to correct it with your supplier/manufacturer? I have yet to wear my sweater and I was planning on purchasing a grey one. Since reading the reviews, I am going to hold off. I would like to know what LLBean plans to do about the issue.

Pair with vest
I purchased the off white to wear with my long LLB sweater vest in sailcloth color. I wanted a put together look for the winter and I hope this will do it.There is room for a T shirt under the sweater. Sleeves are long on me (not unusual) and entire sleeve is ribbed making it easy to cuff.

It's almost cozy sweater season!
Great fit. Comfortable neck, a bit longer than a true mock turtleneck, but not as long as a full turtleneck. Longer style.

So soft and utterly luxurious...I ain't out for compliments, but they came my way. It's perfect with the LL Bean Sherpa longer vest with zip and deep pockets..Compliments all the time. I love everything about this beautiful turtleneck. I'm a Petite 5'1 on a good day , size M.
