Switch problems too
A couple months ago it would not turn off. Took batteries out overnight and it was able to stay off when batteries were put back. The same thing happened again yesterday. The headlamp is barely used. This headlamp is not reliable and not the expected LL Bean quality. Do not buy.

Switch issues
I have had this for 3 years. Use it only on camping trips, so not a daily use headlamp. The on off switch was a bit troublesome from the begining, mostly working but sometimes not. The sometimes not became more frequent, till it will not turn on. To bad, because the light is bright and I like the green for camping. I would not recommend.

Headlamp
Very disappointed, put it together but doesn’t work correctly! Only one light comes on, not all the light options.

awesome
I love it. I think it is great... use it all the time to check on small things, outside, inside, to read a book in the dark ... so very many uses. Just great

Not What I Thoguht
I bought this thinking that I would like it better than the Trailblazer SNAP. Unfortunately, I find it more clunky to use. The brightness is great when you need a lot of light, but mostly I spend more time trying not to blind people as there is no way to dim the light gradually. The green light is not very useful to me. It is also difficult to switch between the modes and not turn it off. So even though my SNAP went died and wasn't able to be revived, I would recommend it or a different one above this.

Very Disappointing Headlamp
I do not recommend anyone purchasing this headlamp. It is cheaply made, does not have a good beam light (but lights OK for a wider range area), uses an easily broken or worn plastic screw to secure the battery compartment (it's a $60 product--why not use a metal screw and insert for longer wear?), does not include printed instructions but uses a QR code to scan for documentation (which was a problem when camping with no internet or cell service). In addition, the head strap was poorly constructed with glue, not stitched (which was likely a defective manufacturing problem and a lack of quality control) and came apart when sliding it over my head. Overall, I'm sorry to say that this is another example of the decline in quality of Bean products that I've experienced over the past approx 10 years. As a Bean customer for more than 40 years, I was always pleased with the consistently excellent quality, but it seems like the vendors they now use to produce their own brand name products are not up to snuff, and the pricing just climbs higher every year. I never minded paying a little more for the high quality I received, but it's hard to justify paying more for products like this headlamp.I still ended up paying $60 for a headlamp, but I purchased a great Black Diamond Storm light with a variety of beams and intensities, and a battery compartment with a high quality, hard plastic clasp, no plastic screw, printed instructions in the box!.

Trailblazer glasses
My husband, being a plumber, absolutely loves them for work! Much easier than carrying a flashlight under a kitchen sink
