turtleneck fabric weight, cut and fit
Bought two of these because I need warm clothing for the winter and turtlenecks are a necessity for me. The weight of the fabric is not substantial enough even under 2 other layers. Its nice to have the stretch, but the fit is more generous than described and one arm length is longer than the other. This is disappointing to me again because of the warmth issue. I don't understand why, at the price, LL Bean does not follow Lands Ends lead and offer tall sizing. I am 5'8" which really isn't that tall (it is common for me to meet women taller than me) and its exasperating to pay a premium price and not be able to get a shirt that goes down to my wrists.

So silky!
This is a great piece to wear under a fleece. It is on the thin side, but very soft and silky. The fit is perfect also - the neck is not too tight, sleeves a good length and overall just right.

Almost perfect!
Love the soft and not too heavy fabric--would be perfect if the neck was slightly less baggy! Would prefer wrist cuffs as well, but otherwise love this as a layering piece.

Nice material-good fit. A little bit longer than typical LLBean’s turtleneck which is more in line with today’s fashion. The neck was a bit tight but ok.
