Just right!
Got this for my daughter who is now in middle school. Her other backpacks were too small as they do not have lockers at her current school and she is constantly having to carry all of her books with her. It's been the perfect size and very durable - as expected with LL Bean products!

Happy kids

With so many choices out there for backpacks, I knew when my grandchildren needed them I could count on one company to provide good quality and abundance of choices that combined with free personalization for cardholder members and it did not surprise me ,that L.L. Great pet bag!
I purchased the LL Bean original book pack 30L to use as my dog's bag when we travel. The bag is perfect to carry her food and water bottle along with other items we might need. It is sturdy and comfortable to carry. I am confident it will last for many years to come.

I had a couple of these in the past and this one is cheaply made plastic feeling. Going back.
It's big. Lots of pockets but huge letdown when you had other llbean back packs that were so good!!
