Should be better considering the price
Like many LL Bean shirts, if I get one that fits across my chest & upper back, it will also be too big around the belly area. This shirt has the same fit. The spacing between the outside-half of the snaps is wider than the spacing of the inside-half of the snaps, so when the shirt is snapped closed, the material doesn't sit flat between the snaps.

Nice shirt
Nice shirt! I like it and it is warm, looks nice and is a great fit. However, two things need to be mentioned. it is not 100% wool, it's 70% wool and it does need to be dry cleaned.

Good overall, a little tight in the chest.
Good shirt, warm and soft good for everyday wear or as a light base layer. I typically wear an XL, the sleeve and overall length are good but it wears a little tight in the chest. Would consider going a size up if you have a wide chest/shoulders.

Great shirt for the winter cold in the South(NC).
I absolutely love this shirt, it is just the right weight for the Southern Winter. Comfortable and durable fabric will hold up for years to come. I even like the snaps and that was my only concern when I bought it.

Extremely well made shirts....
These wool shirts are pricey, but extremely well made. I received one for Christmas and just bought a second one. The first one appeared to have plastic snaps, which was my only complaint, but the second one definitely has metal snaps. Maybe they're correcting that one kink in an otherwise perfect garment? Don't know, but it fits perfect for my build, and I didn't think I would ever find wool shirts big enough to fit me, so I'm pretty happy with them.

Wool shirts are the best!
She is a beauty. Nothing beats wearing wool in cold weather. Thank you for offering this, add more to your offerings in big & tall. Note, a tall will fit a regular size man, but a regular will not fit a tall size man. Maximize your inventory.
