Warm but too short and strange shape
The jacket is too short. I am 5'2" and the jacket comes to just below my waist. It could use another 3-4 inches and still be cropped style. As is it is too short for winter sports unless worn over bib pants. Definitely not for taller gals. The jacket also has a strange shape with the shoulders protruding due to the dropped sleeves. Because the fabric is stiff and the sleeves are stuffed with down the shoulders don't drop but stick out. Despite the strange cut this jacket is very warm, did not skimp on down, has a great zipper and hood and has a beautiful color and pattern.

So happy I made this purchase
Previously, I was a resident of New York. Having moved to Texas over forty years ago to escape the cold and snow, I did not own any substantially warm outerwear. I was getting ready to make a visit back in December and was very anxious about not having a jacket. This jacket met all my requirements; these being that it had to have a zippered front, it had to have a hood, it had to be lightweight, and it had to be machine washable. I like the design on the jacket, but more so, the jacket kept me warm in New York. I was able to pack it easily in my travel bag when I did not need this. I was hesitant at first to purchase, but this is one purchase that I am ever so happy I made. Just perfect! I could not be more pleased with this jacket.

Great sher length feature!!
I love that it is a shorter, light weight, to the waistline coat! I use a wheelchair and I don’t want to have to sit on the coat. It then bunches up in front of me. So unfashionable!! I have looked for this length and lighter weight for 2 seasons. This length and weight is perfect! Thank you! Will buy it right now. PS I’m petite with longer arms, so bought a regular. Would like petite upper body clothing with longer sleeve lengths.
