Love this jacket!
Perfect weight, and ,warmth for my NH white mountains winter. I love the cut , flattering fit, but roomy enough to move ,and layer. You can dress it up or down.and goes with everything. The modem green is beautiful. I love this jacket!

Maine Guide Zip Front Jac-Shirt Primaloft Women's
The perfect weight for early winter temperatures. Styling is casual and smart. Sleeves are a bit long, but the cuffs are adjustable so that helps.

Warm and cozy in Seattle
I really love this jacket. First of all it's a classic cut very simple but elegant in its simplicity. The color is great and the wool is why I bought it in the first place. I live in Seattle where we appreciate our woolens. The wool is really warm and the lining makes it warm enough for all but the very coldest days. Wool repels the rain so it is good for light rain. I bought a medium the sleeves are a bit long but even that works out because my hands stay warm if I forget gloves.

Excellent quality and loved the color
Excellent quality and well made. The size I ordered was way too big on me so I returned the jacket. This is an item that would best be tried on in a store to obtain the correct size.

Classic wool coat
Ordered this during our April snowstorm but was on back order til June when it was hot! But this is truly a lovely jacket like old style quality Bean items. The rich mossy green color is not too dull.
The light weight insulating layer is not too bulky.
The sizing is a little big. Usually I’m an 8-10/medium petite but the small fits perfectly except for the sleeve length which I will roll up or shorten.

Disappointed
I had high hopes for this jacket. I tried to order it last year a couple of days after the catalogue arrived in August but it was already not available in small or medium and was never back in stock. So this year I ordered the medium the same day the catalogue came (the small was already gone!). I love the color, but the wool is scratchy and with the lining the jacket is stiff. The sleeves have two buttons at the cuff but they are set so the tighter one buckles the sleeve making it unusable. The description of the jacket matches the men's jacket but the women's has several missing features. Ultrasuede trim on cuffs and collar for comfort against skin are not present - replaced with a thin cotton like material. The attached exterior wool cape for additional warmth and protection in drizzle and snow is also missing. I am frequently disappointed in the LL Bean women's selection versus the men's and I was hoping this jacket would be an exception - but alas it was not to be.

Beautiful
Beautiful lined wool jacket. It runs a little big - I went down a full size. The sleeves are really long and I will pay to have them altered. Taking off one star for the long sleeves. If the cuff was wool inside I would just roll them over but the cuff is lined.
