Amazing tailoring, poor material choices.
The low waisted cut and added stretch make these a perfect early season desert bird chaser pants… if it weren’t for the poor choice of using similar stretch fabric for the brush (thorn/bramble/spine) panels. Spines from cactus, mesquite, and palo verde pass through it with far too much ease. What I can say is that the cut and stretch found in the seat and crotch of these pants result in a perfect, bind free high step to chase after quail up steep slopes and over waist high boulders. The legs could stand to have a bit more taper as the opening at the ankle is still quite large. These ran about two inches too wide at the waist compared to the lower priced brish pants.

Great pants
Overall a great pair of pants. Went through briars and other thorny areas. I did notice some smaller thistles were getting through. The surface also picked up certain types of burrs. The waist fits well but I think they should have more options in lengths. It’s been super dry here so I’m waiting to see how they do in wet weather.

Great pants for the outdoors
Overall - I'm very happy with these pants. I find that they have just the perfect amount of stretch for outdoor activities like hiking and camping. They seem very durable and tough, I've worn them while climbing and scooting over rocks while hiking in Acadia National Park. And of course, the legs are perfect for moving through briars and thorny brush.
My only complaint is the front pockets - stuff just really seems to want to fall out when sitting down - especially while driving. I don't have this problem with other pants, so I believe that the pockets on these pants could be re-designed.

Stretchy base pants not durable in the brush
The legs and cuffs are great but the stretchy yoga pants base get snagged on absolutely everything but the gentlest of grasses. They were shredded after 4 hunts.
