Good gift when monogramed
I bought four locker room towels and had all monogramed for gifts. No question, the quality is much poorer than the same appearing towels that I purchased a few years back from LL Bean: Thinner and smaller. The older towels will last a lifetime, these won't.

Family
Years ago I bought 13 of these towels for my family! I was a proud girl living in Maine! We had them monogrammed and gave them as Christmas gifts! They all opened at the same time. What fun ! Since then I became a grandmother! So I had to get them each one ! I was a little disappointed in the quality but I was thrilled that they were happy to have one like the rest of the family! LL bean is a staple of Maine and I hope they can continue to make family traditions!

Locker Room Towel
I bought 2 of these towels about 10 years ago. This towel is so plush. I use it to dry off after I shower. It's the size of a beach towel but much thicker and heavier. I just purchased 2 new ones. I think 10 years for a towel is pretty good. It's a good deal on sale. I highly recommend.

Perfect lightweight bath towel
I decided to try this towel since I prefer lighter ones than my wife. It fits the bill perfectly for me. The name is the correct description - "Locker Room Towel" - as it is thinner than most bath towels and tends to dry a bit more easily than most. Its absorption capability is fine for just quickly toweling off after my daily shower, and when not in use, it takes less shelf space than other towels.

Towel too big for gym
The towel is very nice but i use it for the gym and it's too big. For the gym i prefer something lighter and smaller because i have to carry all this stuff in my gym bag, which can get heavy.
