Perfect Shirt/Jac for Maine’s fall weather
Great fit and sturdy material - yet not too heavy. Perfect for throwing on over a flannel shirt for a walk or running errands.
Generous fit — clearly designed to wear over another layer.

Poor material and cut
This jacket has a nice style but the material is cheap. I felt like it wouldn't holdup to washing well and would only look worse over time. On top of that the amount of extra fabric though the torso was just silly. I could have had an inner tube around my waist and there still would be an excess of material.

Just the ticket
Feels well-made and durable. The details are nice too. I like the snaps and the pockets which will make it a functional outer layer for the fall and early spring. It is much like my old field coat in that regard. It will make a great casual or work jacket.

much to long sleeves
I followed the LL Bean prompts to determine the size that I should order, it was way too big, and the sleeves would be too long for an orangutan, the material was light but OK and the color was as advertised,

Problem with snaps on front
Have used Jac on and off for a year. I still can't break in the snaps to close the front easily. Always a time consuming and frustrating two-hand job Otherwise its a great Jac; but I can't use it when outside temps require closure of the front . Limits use to calm and warmer days.

Sizing
I am very pleased with the color and the quality, however I measured myself to ensure the fit was good and followed the sizing guide and the jacket is still a oversized, if you are looking for a snug fit definitely size down.

In Yellowstone ecosystem
Bought to break wind, repel insects— not for warmth. Works for purchase purpose. Pockets convenient for keys, dog treats etc..
