Beautiful quality, colors don't match photos
I absolutely love LLBean quilts. They are beautiful and the quality is the best I have found. I have never been disappointed before and this was my third Bean quilt set. My Blue Meadow quilt set purchased in 2010 and the similar pattern but different color Timeless Floral set from 2014 are still in use and have held up so well in 15 and 11 years but it's time to move the Meadow set to the guest room and update our bedroom. I saw this one and based on the photos of the set with what appears to be white or off-white sheets and bedskirt, I was sure it would match the bedskirt and curtains I already have in the room. When I put the set on the bed I could see that was definitely not the case. The off-white parts are more of a dark beige, bordering on a very light yellow (an almost tea stained antique color) and the darker navy parts are a darker soft denim and it clashed badly. I left it on all day and wanted so much to fall in love with it because it really is a beautiful set but I kept thinking "This isn't going to work" and finally took it off at the end of the day and am returning it today. I am really sad because the quality of the quilt is as I expected and as they always are. It's well made, the perfect year-round weight and the colors are beautiful--just not for what I need or expected. The one star deduction is for the color difference between website and reality only. Not a fan of the other current options so will hold on to the Meadow set for now and see if something new is released. In the meantime, I would definitely recommend this set but with the caveat that the blue colors are much more muted in person and lighter parts are darker than they appear. It reminds me of the farmhouse grain sack colors that are very in now, which are gorgeous and If that works for you, you won't be disappointed. Wish it had worked!

Lasted a long time
Truly! I purchased this LL Bean quilt in 2017, for our grown, single dad raising a son alone, son. The colors are dull, however they went well with his room decor. Fast forward to 2024.... The quilt has survived 3 moves, and weekly washings, due to family dog sleep on the quilt while the family was at work/school. I really like that it is total cotton, inside and out. Makes for a better sleep.
Looking to purchase the same quilt again, as our son, a grown man, refused to give up the worn out, threat bear old one.
