Great fit!
Fit JUST right! My husband is about 5'10" and weighs about 170. Many shorts are too long on him and these are a much better length. The stretchy fabric helps them to fit even better and don't look baggy like other shorts.

Where’s the coolmax.?
I expected the cotton coolmax, tencel elasticine blend in the BeanFlex jeans….not to be. This is cotton spandex not as flexible as the jeans at all… sturdy fabric ,well made, has a crotch gusset because the fabric doesn’t stretch enough

Not up to LL Bean quality
I purchased these shorts and found that the zipper did not go down nearly far enough to be useful. The pocket openings were a tight fit for my hands. I returned the shorts. Lifetime LL Bean customer, first posted review.
