Not puffy but effecive
I purchased this for my slender daughter-in-law because she prefers clothing that's fitted and not particularly puffy. She tried it on and seems pleased with it, which is a Small. Since we live in Florida, it won't get much use down here but she definitely will want it for occasional trips to the mountains of western Virginia where we have another home.

Flattering Fit and Good Quality
I’m so happy with this down vest! I love the longer length and tapered fit which is very flattering for someone with a longer bodice like me. It’s super comfortable and the black color with the dark red lining seem to go with everything I have. I find myself wearing it everyday in the cold New England weather indoors and out. Very good value for the quality and fit especially if purchased with a coupon or on sale.

Great fit, weight, and color
Bought this in Dark Marine Blue and just love it! I have other more lightweight vests, but this one is a bit cozier and warm. Perfect for real winter time. I do wish the lining weren't such a light color, and matched the outer Dark Marine Blue color.

Finally warm - a perfect senior moment.
Terrific vest. My wife says "perfect." It's been years since trying synthetic insulated vests, house "coats," cotton blend light and medium weight base layers, and turtlenecks that have been leaned out by manufacturers, fleece sweaters, and even when she wore them together, she was still cold...indoors at 70 degrees!! This year on a new approach I bought Bean's medium and heavy weight base layers with finger-holds, and Beans Down Vest small petite. Now with the light sleeveless undershirt, either base layer, a light weight turtle neck and sweater, and the Bean's Down Vest, she's actually warm! With the added bonus of Bean's hand warmers lasting hours she's even more "perfect", in her own words. It warms the heart of this happy senior.
