directions?
did not include operational directions, making installation of batteries almost impossible, since flashlights need batteries to operate this becomes a deal breaker

Light
A very comfortable hands free light. I was surprised at how light and comfortable it was and you have your hands free!

Very nice, but...
Nice lamp....powerful. Several settings. Only problem....had to spend dar too much time figuring out where the batteries go. No paperwork or little manual....nothing on box to help. Otherwise, perfect item esp. for the price.

Very handy
I had never bought a headlamp before but during hurricane Helene we discovered that this was incredibly handy during a power outage. It frees up your hands while walking around the house. You just have to remember not to face other people while wearing it. My husband had no trouble getting the battery in and I went back and purchased another headlamp for myself.

Perfect for those dark winter afternoons getting out to the chicken coop, bee hives, and shoveling paths. Am sure they'll be good for walks in the dark woods. The adjustable light is a bonus.

Great when it works.
I bought this headlamp in March, and I have used it occasionally, mostly to read at night. I am someone who has headlamps everywhere, one in my fly fishing pack, house and car. Well this one was needed, and it was totally dead, so I figured I would charge it... and now is is just blinking, so it is currently useless. I do not believe it came with the little allen wrench needed to replace batteries, and if it did I definitely lost it. Overall, to make my long story short, it really should have a longer battery life than it does.

I bought this headlamp to replace a previous LLBean headlamp for walking dogs at night. The product works well so far. But the battery compartment is a terrible design and there were no instructions on how to install the batteries when purchased. It is not intuitive in my opinion.
