Great for thick thighs
I always have problems with tight thighs and gaping waist. Not with these pants! Wide leg pants are the best thing that has ever happened to my body type. Size chart put me at a 12 in the waist and 14 in the hips. I bought the 12 and it fits great. No waist gape and plenty of room for my thighs to breathe.
I bought the regular inseam. I normally need a petite inseam, but these are meant to be ankle-length and I wanted them to be slightly longer.

My favorite pants!
These jeans are very comfortable and flattering for women who carry more weight in their hips and thighs than in their torso. Although the denim is very soft to the touch, so that it does not chafe against the legs, it is substantial, and holds up well for housework and gardening, as well as walking and hiking, especially in cool weather. If you buy these jeans in a size that leaves a bit of extra room, you can wear a close fitting underlayer on very crisp days. And best of all, the front pockets on these beauties are so deep that you can carry a cellphone or small wallet with you on errands if you don't want to take a purse. The colors of the sage and maple denim are rich and beautiful, while the black looks very dressy, although all three can be dressed up or down, depending on what you pair them with. Obviously, I will never run out of good things to say about my favorite pants! I hope they will find their way into a few more closets and suitcases than mine :))

Excellent silhouette!
I adore these jeans! I got them in the denim first and the waist was a bit snug, so I sized up with these. I think they may be a tad bigger, but they work very well. Love the legs!
