Just "Meh"
Wanted to love this vest - but unfortunately it just didn't do it for me. The pockets were strange - the outside of the pockets were not insulated - they would not really keep hands warm. The fabric felt fragile as well.

Unisex doesn't work for me - Red vest
Love the old style a lot. Men should look carefully, before you buy the red vest, at the odd liner color that can't easily be discerned from the pictures. It's too feminine in my personal opinion.

Still As Good as the Original !
I purchased one about 15 years ago and this one performs as great as the first one. And the original one I purchased is still going strong but I got to close to a fire one day and burnt a hole in it. Its still a great everyday go to. I just wanted a new one I could wear when just relaxing or going somewhere in public without shedding my feathers!

Great Vest - Terrible Logo plastered on lining
The vest is great - had one just like it for years and am still using it. The only bad thing about this one is the huge LL Bean logo plastered all over the inside. It looks like an outsized advertising item. A tasteful logo is fine but this is way over the top - unless you either give it away as a promotional item or a substantially reduced price.

Snaps for the Win!!
Finally a vest without zippers! Snaps are way better, easier to use and more functional. Fabric is great, the down insulation is fantastic. Vest is super warm, another high quality product from LLBean. My last LLBean vest with snaps is over 15 years old, so I was definitely in need of an upgrade!
