Toasty but lightweight
This is a lightweight jacket that is very toasty. It is thin enough to put a jacket over it but is nice alone for a fall day to keep the chill off.

Good for changing season
Fleece not as heavy as some, but I find it warm and good for early Fall. Nice shade of blue trim on navy jacket, and the navy contrasts nicely with my bold striped shirt. True to size. Slightly longer, but that's no problem.

Great in-between
Wanted a light jacket between a shirt and heavier jacket. Glad I purchases this, as it is the perfect weight. I usually wear jackets with hoods, but I wanted this to also layer, under coats, etc. if necessary. If my head gets cold, I just wear a hat with this.
Well, made and love the cozy feel. Not too hot. Perfect for "in-between" fall weather.

Very disappointed
I bought this to go on a trip to the Canadian Rockies. When it came, I was delighted. Just the right weight for what I needed. I washed it and left for my trip. The first time I wore it, my shirt was covered with purple fuzz! I bought a lint roller to use on my shirt and the inside of the jacket. I wore it again and same thing happened. I spent the whole trip with fuzz on my shirts. I washed it again when I got home and now the jacket looks pilled and old. Not L.L. Bean quality!!

A Mixed Bag
This fleece was a mixed bag for me. I really liked the full-zip front opening & pockets. The seams were off-kilter on the side, however, flipping somewhat out & up where they weren't joined properly. Maybe the quality control person was napping! I've had other LLBean fleece jackets over the years that I've loved, but sadly I returned this one.

Great function and style! Needs 2 little tweaks.
Just what I wanted -- a lighter-weight fleece, pockets deep enough for cell phone, and coverage to keep my bum warm. The contrasting lighter blue is very nice and brightens up my face. So function & style -- all at a reasonable price point. The only things that are slightly iffy are -- the zipper pull mechanism is rather small and it's hard to put the other side into the mechanism and start zipping. I hope it is strong enough to last a long time. Also, the lining material for the pocket is kind of stretchy and so when I have a phone in the pocket, it slightly stretches the whole lower edge of the jacket. I hope it doesn't eventually mis-shape the hemline.... LLBean -- I'd suggest a slightly stronger zipper with larger pull, and more hardly material for pocket liners.
