Our sweater is crafted from 100% premium lambswool yarns that are richly textured and noticeably softer than competitors' versions. In fact, it's practically impossible to find other ragg sweaters made without using lesser wool-blend yarns. Each of our ragg wool sweaters is designed stitch by stitch with time-honored styling and details.

Warm sweater
I was looking for a thick wool sweater, I have one from llbewn that is great, but wanted another but on brown...this one was not the color,and the stitching was too open for me.

Classic New England style and warmth!
I bought the blue "birdseye" Ragg Wool sweater at 2:30 AM at the original store in Freeport, ME in 1980 when I was still in college. We would leave Durham, NH at midnight to drive up and shop with all the other night owls. The sweater is still in perfect condition and looks as good as it did when I bought it 45 years ago. Thank you for making such great products that will, literally, last a lifetime!

Ragg Wool Sweater
The sweater fits perfectly, however the arms of the sweater pilled up after wearing the sweater only four times. Very disappointed with that result after paying almost $90 for the sweater. I have stopped wearing it after only four times using it. I would definitely not recommend this sweater for anyone.

Great sweater though baggy on a woman
I have been looking for this sweater in the Women's section to no avail so I ordered a Men's small. It is a little big on me but, oh man, it is warm, comfy and looks nice even if a little baggy. Wish it was made for women so it would fit better.

Favorite sweater
I bought one of these ragg wool navy birds-eye sweaters for my husband many many years ago, and it has always been his favorite sweater. I wash it in the machine on delicate/cold, and dry it flat, and it still looks great. I bought him this second newer one, so that he would have two. This newer (XL TALL) one is not quite as thick as his older one (Regular XL), but is still very thick and warm. Both the regular and the tall fit him, with the tall being longer so used more at home and when out-and-about, and the regular one used more when he goes into the office. Definitely his favorite sweaters (the older and the newer versions).
