So Disappointed
I was hoping that this sweater had improved from a couple of years ago since it recently has many positive reviews. However, it is the same bulky sweater LLBean started producing a few years ago that replaced their previously beautiful cotton cable sweaters. They used to be made from a finer yarn and more tightly knit so they were smooth and warm without being nearly so thick. Half the sweaters in my closet are from LLBean bought over the years. These ones are much cheaper looking - thick yarn, looser knit, poorly sewn seams. If this quality is what they are converting all their sweaters to, I guess, sadly, I won't be wearing or gifting any more LLBean sweaters. Five stars for great colors (mahogany, larkspur, plum and teal are all lovely), style variety and for making 100% cotton sweaters. 2 stars for quality.

This is a very high quality, warm sweater. I’m 7 months pregnant and my normal size fits well. It’s fittted but not too tight. Now I just need the weather to cool down so I can wear it more.

Lovely cable sweater
I purchased the mahogany which is a gorgeous shade of brown. I’m 5’7” and have a larger bust, I purchased a Tall and I’m glad I did because it falls like a normal sweater length, regular size would have been too short on me. I love that the cable stitching is on the front and back, a lot of sweaters just have the cable on the
front. It is a medium weight sweater. I normally wear size Large in other brands but LLBean runs a little larger so I buy a medium for a more fitted look.

Tall is great but sleeves too short
Was really glad to see LLBean made this tall sweater - I love the style and fit! Sleeves unfortunately could use another two inches. They fit like a non-tall sweater. I’m keeping it because I like it otherwise, cozy and nicely made.

Women’s Double L Cable Sweater, Crewneck
Although this is a beautiful cable sweater the sizing is way off. Every top I’ve ordered from LL Bean has been a medium and always fits loosely. This medium fits way too snug. Also this is a very heavy sweater and better worn in colder climate.

Gorgeous teal cable sweater
The vertical axis of this cable sweater is very flattering, and the fabric is comfortable on my sensitive skin. The teal and white sweaters I bought go well with my red hair.
