Not for me!
Wonderful fabric and color. Unfortunately for me these pants do not work. I’m 5’6”, but with a long torso and my inseam is 30”. Very difficult to find many clothing items that work for me. Especially the way everything is made CROPPED now! These were very baggy and I followed another review, “to size up”. Not a good idea.

Comfy & smart looking jeans
these jeans fit nice around the butt and roomy through the thigh & calf. Nice denim material with a design on the back pockets. To me, the waist is not too high, its below my belly button.

Nice fit, comfortable, look great
I am long waisted and these are truly high rise jeans for me. I was able to try on in the store. Don't be tempted to go with the smallest size you can button- they look better hanging straight, not tight around the belly-unless you have no belly:). I bought them in Maple Brown first and then came back for the regular denim.

the hips are huge and the waist tiny
as it fits just below the ribcage thats not the narrowest poini would not recommend buying online . You have to try these on

High rise fit is perfect. I ordered Talls in order to aim for regular length jeans. I ordered size 8 Tall; I’m close to 5’5” and weigh almost 135. The length was about perfect, maybe a touch too long. I couldn’t imagine wearing this thick denim as crops in stovepipe style. So as is, I think the pants are a miss. I wore stovepipes in the 90s and these are spot-on replicas. I couldn’t bring myself to wear them at my age, so they went to a teenager who loveeeees them. Lastly, the complaints about the odor is definitely correct. Extremely moldy smelling. It’s taken multiple washes to get the odor to fade and it’s still detectable. My guess is they were packed damp, or became damp in one of the cargo ships coming overseas with the crazy humid/wet weather everywhere. Not chemical odor—mildew.
