This exclusive flannel is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test," and only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

We love it
This is one of my favorite LL Bean flannels. My relatives loved it, and now five of them and a friend all have the same Stewart brown model. It’s so comfortable and cute. It curls a little at the bottom, and it doesn’t have pockets, but those are minor flaws to me.

Great quality that I'd expect from LLB! I can wear this as it is or put a light shirt under it. I got size L and there is ample room. I'm about 150lb. I love how I don't need to button this! and how it can be worn as a light anorak. The color Mac Rae Hunting is a vibrant blue color! Great shirt for fall-spring in the ADK Mt.
