Uncomfortable seam on the back
I thought this would be a great winter sweater. While it technically fit on my body, the seam across the back shoulder area is totally uncomfortable and rubbed on me.

Great casual sweater
This is a very nice mid-weight wool sweater. The fit is trim and flattering, not at all bulky or baggy. The wool is soft, and the soft spruce heather color is a lovely blue-green. I am 5 ft 2 1/2 inches tall and weigh 108 pounds. The XS fits me perfectly, with the sleeves rolled up one notch. I generally purchase XS petite, but this sweater is not offered in petite. No problem! The cuffs, turned up one notch, do not show a seam.

Loved the fit, scratchy fabric
I bought this for the fall. I loved the fit and the workmanship, but the fabric was so scratchy that I can only wear it with a long-sleeved turtleneck. I was very disappointed because it really fit beautifully. Unfortunately, I will be returning it.

Very uncomfortable to wear.
I sent back the sweater due to its discomfort; it felt quite scratchy when I tried it on. Although it was well constructed and had the potential to be a fantastic sweater, the itchiness made it unbearable. In contrast, I own six pairs of merino wool shoes that are much softer than this sweater.

Love wool, warmth and convenient zip
Love wool sweaters. Warmth is primary. Full zip is convenient for adaptation to a range of chill. Wool does not cling to soiling as much as cotton. This sweater's knit stitch is similar to a ribbed knit cuffs in a larger stitch and reminds me of a dual layer of wool for fabulous chill protection and yet it breaths. I purchased this in all three colors. I have this much loved style LL Bean sweater purchased perhaps 30 years ago in chocolate brown but but is worn thin from frequent use. Wish this sweater came in a marled medium grey color which I wore often years ago. THANK YOU for bringing back this versatile sweater. I'd give it 10 stars if they were available. Yes, the sleeves are long and are meant to be folded up.

Love this sweater but not ordering!
Dear LL Bean: It was bad enough when you switched almost everything from your old fit (now called “relaxed fit” to “slightly fitted”, causing me to size up one or even two sizes. Now you’re adding”fitted” which is just completely out of my comfort zone. I won’t be ordering this one or any others termed “fitted”. I’m too old for that! Bring back your old reliable comfortable fit of decades ago.
