Bought one for myself & one for my daughter
Not only is this jacket cute, it's lightweight & still warmer than it seems it will be, tho it's only been in the 40s here north of Seattle, & I haven't been outside in it for more than a few minutes. Construction is impeccable, of course. Hood is nice fitting (I hate oversized hoods that block visibility & won't stay on).

Sadly, I am returning this jacket. The fit was fine, I like the colors, however, it was too light weight for what I was looking for. Also, I was disappointed that there was no way to snug up the bottom of the jacket to keep the wind out. That was a serious omission I think.

Very happy with this jacket
This light weight coat is warm and very comfortable. I’m wearing it for around 30-45° weather, when I need more than a vest or fleece, but not my full winter coat. Though certainly not a rain coat, I’ve also found it does just fine in a light rain and dries out quick. I also like that it has a hood, and love the retro color scheme! Plus I got it during a sale, and used L. L. Bean card points 🎉

Great coat.
I love this coat. It is light enough to wear comfortably in the car while running errands and warm enough to wear on winter walks with a sweater underneath. I’ve had complements on the style and colors. Would like zippered pockets to keep items safer.

Nice for mild to moderate winter
I purchased this for winter in the Southeastern US and it works perfectly with a light layer underneath. Have also worn in the twenties (Fahrenheit) in Alberta and seemed to do decent there too with a sweatshirt as the first layer. Personally, I think the sizing is perfect but I could see where some might want to size down if you like a close fitting jacket. Overall I’m happy with the quality, the fit, and the price I paid for it.
