Not what it was advertised to be
I have no doubt this would be perfect for someone who lived in Maine, but we live in California. It was suppose to clean up easily. It didn't. The dirt came off, but a major problem in California is the foxtail plant. They did not come off even with the hose spraying
it. Not worth the over $140.00 we paid for it.

Good and reliable
I use the water hog runner in the entryway to my home where muddy boots and muddy pets are in and out many times a day. It protects the wooden floor beneath. I gave it four rather than five stars because I wish the runner were a few inches wider. I can’t imagine the runner working on a staircase because of its thickness. For an entryway or hallway, it is not wide enough, but we may do because it performs very well. It might be wide enough in a very narrow hallway of a city apartment, but in the city, there’s not a lot of mud to get on your shoes, so I don’t really understand the thinking on the width. If you’re not dealing with plenty of wetness and mud, you don’t need something so heavy duty.
