Great option for winter warmth
We love this throw. It is very warm- perfect for our recently frigid temperatures (teens with sub-zero temps expected next week) Fits well on the back of the couch, handy to grab during a movie or football game. The silver-sage color matches or living room wall.

Sheds like a housefull of Cats!
I purchased this in October of 2023. Initially we were very pleased. But after being washed once it began shedding badly. While it is warm and comfy, it leave your clothes covered in fibers. Definitely not the quality that we expect from LLBean products.

Nice throw, but lacking down
This is a nice throw in terms of softness and fabric, however it is noticeably less filled/full of down than the exact same throw I bought a couple of years ago. In fact, if I hadn’t been the one that ordered it, I wouldn’t have known it was supposed to be a down throw, just a plush one. Everyone liked the first one so much, we wanted another. While we’ll use this one, it’s a shame it isn’t actually the same thickness.

Nicest throw I've ever seen
This is the nicest throw I've ever had--this is what I imagine blankets used to be like in the days of yore (reminds me a little of the blankets on the kids' beds in Mary Poppins). Can't say if it used to be even nicer, since I only have experience with the one I bought in fall 2024. However, I wish Bean would make other colors--would really like a dusky plum for the living room.

Super warm!
I usually have a hard time warming up my feet specifically in the winter - sticking my blankets in the dryer, socks and slippers, etcetera would never help the heat stay, but after buying and using this blanket, it gathers and traps heat so well I don't have that problem anymore. A great investment for those that get chilly easily, and very soft and comfortable to top it all off.

Emotional Support Throw - Only for Moms
I've got three now. They are my TV watching comfort throws. So soft and warm. Wish they were a tad longer, but then they would be a twin comforter, hahaha!!!
Try to keep them clean, they really don't like to be washed. If you do wash one, go delicate all the way, front loader washers only or hand wash - yeah thats an issue for some.
Keep this one aside and away from kids and dogs. This is a Mom only luxury.

Warm!
I bought one about 2 years ago, and absolutely love it! Vgreat for watching TV as a generously sized throw, or on my granddaughter’s toddler bed as a warm blanket. I ordered 3 for Christmas gifts, as I want mine back from my granddaughter. She requested a blue one for Christmas, and that is what she will receive.
