Product Details

Our most comfortable PFD for the kayaker, this coast guard-approved PFD is designed specifically for the high-back seats found on most recreational kayaks. It will allow the freedom of movement you need to paddle comfortably.

XS/S

Fits chest sizes:: 31"-37".

XL

Fits chest sizes:: 40"-46".

M/L

Fits chest sizes:: 38"-44".

Because most PFDs aren't very comfortable to wear while seated, people tend to use them as seats or strap them onto the deck of their boat. The Comfort Back PFD is so comfortable you'll want to keep it on while sitting in your kayak seat. You'll barely feel the thin foam between your back and the seat. Shell and liner is now made from recycled fabric.

Shell is made from 600D recycled polyester.
Flotation provided by lightweight polyethylene foam.
200D recycled nylon inner lining.

Entry grip tab at base of zipper.
Two open-top pockets, perfect for stashing paddling gloves.
Two zip-closure pockets for storage.
Reflective accents provide increased visibility.
US Coast Guard-approved Type III PFD.
Eight adjustment straps provide a customized fit.
Thin foam insert on back won't feel bulky against high-back kayak seats.
Buoyancy: 16 lb.
Lash tab on the rear left shoulder allows the mounting of a strobe or other accessories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Diane S from Great fit for kayaking I’ve been kayaking with the wrong kind of PFD for too long and treated myself to this one. Love the fit and the fact that the back is not too bulky against the kayak seat back. I do not think this vest runs small, you just have to adjust the straps appropriately. Highly recommended! Wish I had bought it sooner.

Someone had to help me, like a child getting zipped into a jacket. I knew this wouldnt work for me. The chest measurements given indicated a good fit for me but was too tight.
