Everything but the pockets
I really wanted to love this sweater. It's got the right weight, the right length, it feels good on, and my wife likes the look of it. And it has one flaw. The pockets are too shallow. I might put a small set of keys in one of those pockets but I'd be afraid they might fall out if I sat down. I was disappointed when I first put it on with those pockets. From the pictures I expected the pockets to be about enough to put a hand in and warm it up. Not so. Maybe the first couple of knuckles of one of my hands would fit in one of those pockets. L.L. Bean – you have the makings of a fantastic sweater here. Put decent pockets in it.

Since I wear XXL tee shirts, XL shirts, I thought ordering the sweater would take a XXXL. Wrong! It was way too large for me. It would have been warm due to the thickness and it being heavy.

Hubby’s Favorite Sweater
I purchased this for my husband last Christmas. He absolutely loves it! Wore it all the time. We were joking that since he is a year away from 60 it was time for an “old man sweater”. Lol. Not so much because I would characterize this sweater as such, but cardigans are not something he had ever worn. Usually pull over sweaters. Anyway, he said it was incredibly comfortable and the perfect amount of warmth. I can’t really comment on the durability as of yet because it’s only been washed once. Hoping that it lasts a long time and there are no issues with that. Finally, husband is a big guy and this was a good style for him.
