Rod line weight misrepresented for 7’
Rod line weight for the 7’ combo is listed as 8-17 lbs when it is actually 6-12 lbs. Still will cast a one ounce lure without too much difficulty. To remove the label, soak label for 10 minutes with original Goo Gone and peal off. More Goo Gone will get rid of any residual adhesive. Once all remnants are removed, apply a little bit of Dawn dishwashing liquid and wash off.

Vey Disappointed
I'm very disappointed in the the fit and finish of the reel. It looks cheap. The case is made of poor quality material and construction is poor. I will be sending it back!

One of my favorite rods
Bought this rod over the summer and it is great. Almost no tangles, great weight in my hand, and casts like a dream. The rod breaks down nicely and I'm able to take it nearly anywhere. The reel is perfect size and its retrieval is smooth. The ultra-light style (8lb) is a must have for any angler.

Broken rod!
I bought this rod to take on a remote fishing trip to Canada, the rod broke after ten minutes of trolling. I’m sure LL Bean will take care of the issue but it didn’t help me in my remote location. I’m sure glad I took two rods.
