Bean's Down Jackets
Got the 3XL Size and it is too tight. I get 3XL Polo Shirts from LL Bean and they fit fine.

I am a 6'0" 170lb man living in Alaska who requires multiple layers in the winter for -20 to -40 degree winter nights. This is a good middle layer to protect you from wind and cold. Would recommend combining with a dri-fit base layer, and then a heavy parka to go over the down jacket and you'll be very comfortable in sub freezing weather.
If you scroll through all the reviews, you'll see a lot of people recommend getting one size larger than you normally would. Most of the reviews said the arms and chest were tight. I'm normally a medium traditional fit (I have an athletic, runner's build) so I took everyones' advice and ordered a Large. It fits well overall, but I could have easily gotten my normal medium and that would have been okay in hindsight (the jacket is slightly bulky as a Large for my Medium frame, but not too bad).
If you want the honest truth, most of the people who said order a size up were objectively overweight for their height (for example, a 5'4" person at 200+lbs ordered a Medium, that wasn't smart, of course it's going to be a tight fit...), so the recommendation to order up can be misleading. The safest answer is order your normal size, and worst case scenario is you ship it back for a size larger. Either way, it gets the job done.

Tight squeeze
Nice BUT inside of sleeves is too narrow. My shirt sleeves bunch up when I try to slide my arms in.

Coat is not cut right
Sleeves are made poorly; very tight on arms in our usual size for no reason. Strange fit.

Great Jacket. I would recommend.
I am 6ft. 235 lbs. I would recommend ordering a size larger than you think you are. I love this jacket. Great look, light weight and I love down jackets.

Great Fit, Style & Comfort!
I’m 5’ 11” 215 lbs. I bought a Large Reg. The jacket fits fitted in the mid section but not tight. Perfect length in the arms as I’m a 34/35 in dress shirts. The fleece lining is comfortable as it is mid back & up to the bottom of the neck & under the arm pits but not down the sleeve. I do not have any problems with it getting the jacket on and off. The fleece actually helps the jacket stay centered on the body. I stay perfectly warm in the jacket but not hot. It’s puffy but you don’t look like a marshmallow man. I love the color set up. Highly recommend!

A very good down jacket, with a flaw.
I love the style and the light weight and the warmth it provides. The only negatives I have is the fleece lining in the shoulder area that makes shirts bunch up, especially in the arm pits, and the narrow opening for arms to enter the sleeves.

Nice warm down jacket
Nice warm jacket, a little more bulky than I expected. It has a fleece like lining which is very soft but also catches on your shirt sleeves when you try to put the jacket on. I am 6' 1" and 200 lbs. I needed the extra-large size.
