I was able to go into museums without having to check it in. The bag fit my hat,raincoat and other shopping done for the day Bag is very light to carry. It’s the best.

I purchased this Sling Pack about 10 months ago in the Freeport Maine Outlet store and it's become my "go to" pack for Fly Fishing. This is an extremely spacious pack that is well thought out and offers major convenience when out on the water. The outer compartment is large enough to accommodate a fly box or two and has several inner compartments inside of it that can hold the vast majority of your accessories including tapered leader, weights, indicators, et. I use one of the inner compartments to hold my fishing license. The outer compartment also opens wide with fabric stops to form a tray. The main compartment is huge! It will hold several fly boxes. I even can fit a packable rain jacket inside of it. The main compartment also has a zippered lining that opens to give you more storage of items that are flat (small fly boxes, tapered leader, et). At one end there is a compartment that holds a water bottle. There is also an area on the outside that will accommodate spools of tippet. Overall I feel that this is a great product with just a few exceptions. Initially it was awkward to put on and adjust to exactly how I wanted to position the pack on my back when not in use. Secondly, when bending forward to net fish it has a tendency to shift and nearly slide off my back. As I continue to use the product, I have been able to overcome all of these minor inconveniences through adjustments in the straps and ongoing use. I have owned packs and vests from the major manufacturers who tend to be very pricey and would say this pack can't be beat for the money.
