These are great jackets available for sale at LLbean outlets only. The retail stores no longer sell them Discontinued this year. sad . They are as good as major sportswear brand coats

I finally found my polartec jacket *****
I had a windpro fleece jacket from LLBean about 15 years ago that I wanted to replace. This jacket is no longer for sale. LLbean has DISCONTINUED this model.
I found this Polartec mountain Pro in a LLbean outlet store in New Hampshire.
The Polartec 300 weight is perfect for cold New England fall&winters. Love it!

Mountain Pro Polartec Fleece Jacket review
The jacket is tight in the armpit area. It is very warm and cuts through the wind. I wear it casually now and have to unzip it because I get pretty hot with it on. It works great under a larger puffer coat or with a thin rain coat over it. The fabric could be a little bit more flexible though.

Great warmth and softness in a jacket!
Wonderfully soft, warm, and comfortable jacket. It does run a tad small, as other reviewers have said. But simple one size up adjustment resolves that. Gray colorist nice. The pocket color doesn't ruin the jacket like it does in other color options. Not sure why LL Bean feels the need to do wild style "updates" like that. Most people prefer basic colors and real features.
