As an owner of the button up version, disappointed
Wanted to get the hooded version of the button up one I had since around 2017 or so. Can't remember the exact year honestly. If I never had that version this one might have been satisfying enough to keep but unfortunately I did have it. Here's what I didn't like:
1) The pockets felt like they were randomly placed pocket squares. Could have lived with it.
2) The fabric felt exceptionally thinner and the inside was a much different material. Felt flimsy compared to my older version. This was the deal breaker. It was not the LLBean quality I was expecting based on my previous version and was quite disappointing.
3) Snap buttons felt kind of silly. While I had no problem I can see someone older having issues if they have dexterity issues in hands.
Honestly, if you've never seen the quality that these use to be you might like it. If you've had the older version, you won't like this as much. Really up to each person as everyone is different but hard pass for me at the $$ even on sale.

Quality lacking
Quality was not up to that of previous renditions of this jacket. Fabric was thinner, fit through shoulders was tighter, but it was baggy through the chest. Also preferred buttons to the snaps, that are a little hard on arthritic hands.

My new cozy go to jacket
Fit is as expected, it is lined throughout (body, hood and sleeves), and it very comfortable. I'm a bit bummed that one of the snaps came off, so I hope to get that fixed soon. To be fair, I had something unexpectedly pull against me, but I didn't expect the snap to dislodge.

Nice jacket for fall and spring
This flannel jacket is not really suitable for winter, but would work for fall and spring when the weather is cool. The garment is well made and is soft against your skin. The snaps and attached hood make it easy to help stop a mild wind. The black watch has deep colors running through out the entire piece, the snaps are perfect for my aging hands. If you need something more substantial for the winter or you chill easy, a heavier jacket would work better.

Fabulous fleece lined flannel hoodie for women too
This was my fall clothing splurge, as I decided I wanted something slightly warmer than a regular hoodie sweatshirt, and different from a fleece only hoodie, to hang around outside with my dogs. After looking through multiple options for a fleece lined hoodie, I decided this one looked best. I love it! It is warm, and so comfortable. It is also cute. I am female and ordered this for myself. I ordered the men's version of it because I typically order plus sizes for hoodies (I like them loose), and for some reason, LLBean does not make their women's version of this hoodie in plus sizes. They have gotten really good at offering the majority of their options in plus sizes (Thank you!) but not this. LLBean, please offer the women's hoodie version of this product in plus sizes. If we are going to wear something to keep warm, it needs a hood. For reference, I typically wear a 1x or 2x in women's hoodies (I am actually an XL or 1x but like oversized). I ordered the men's XL in this and it was perfect. I also get men's XL zip hoodies from LLBean, and sizing is consistent with that. Unlike regular cotton/polyester or cotton hoodies, this does not have much stretch, due to the flannel, just FYI. It has snaps, not a zipper. I would prefer a zipper, but the snaps work well and keep it closed. Nice deep pockets. Washes well and does not shrink in the wash. I wear it all the time.
