Works well for my intended use.
I purchased this bag to carry extra stuff while traveling for a cruise. There are always things needed at easy reach and not buried in larger suitcases or bags. Travel papers and medicine come high on that list.
Like all LLBean stuff it is made very well. It has a handy strap on top and the only negative I see is there is no chest strap. Otherwise I would rate is five stars.
I do recommend this bag.

Great size and well made
It fits everything I need for work. 13in laptop, 1L Nalgene, coffee mug. I was nervous it would be too small but it’s perfect. My only complaint is I wish it had 2 zippers on the main compartment.

Perfect for airplane travel
Great size for traveling! It’s a seamless bag, not huge, fits perfectly under an airplane seat, etc. I don’t carry much when traveling and this bag is perfect for a small amount of items like a book, a water bottle, two cardigans, my bag of liquids and some other small items. I highly recommend!

Compact and practical
I am very pleased with this backpack which I bought for its slim design and compact shape. It’s perfect for travel or daily jaunts when you don’t want to lug a big backpack around. It fits everything you need as well as a couple of books or a small laptop.

I am a senior and bought this for travel. It is a perfect size for a light jacket, protien bar and water. The straps are better positioned to avoid back strain. And I love the color!

Not sure it was what I really needed
I had high hopes for this bag because it seemed to be the answer to carrying my purse. I am babying am arthritic hip and felt it was light and small enough. It met those specifications, but I think the bottle pockets on the side are too shallow, and while my iPhone SE fits in them, they are too shallow to give adequate protection, especially from pickpockets. And finally the straps. the ribbon connections twist and make adjustments difficult. Overall it seems to be a gerat bag and after a month of use, I am not seeing any weark on the seams or stitching.
