Warm but Fall Apart
I only use these gloves for skiing. Maybe 5-7 times/year. Not much. After 2 seasons, the rubber palm is already falling apart. Same happened with my son's gloves. LLBean used to be the standard-bearer for high quality outdoor gear. And they stood by their products. Now their products are cheaply made and fall apart after minimal use. Very disappointing.

Go in snow!
Good for heavy snow use. A little bulky for driving.

Little extras make the difference
The gloves have several nice features including two location to cinch the openings to keep out cold and snow. They also have an elastic strap that keeps them connected to your hands if you temporarily remove them. Instead of putting your gloves down somewhere to be lost, they are kept attached to you.

Waterproof is a positive
These gloves are both warm & waterproof. I like the way they fit over the sleeve of the coat I am wearing.

Excellent light weight winter gloves
These are the best light weight winter gloves that I have worn. They are reasonably warm and dry even without glove liners down to just below 32° F, and the wrist bands, designed to prevent loss of gloves from a fall on skis, are very helpful to temporarily remove them in-town when out and about. For colder temperatures well below 32° F, however, I still need a bit heavier glove, like a Gordini that accepts a glove liner and provides a zippered pocket to insert an activated hand warmer.
