Beautiful Sweater.....Not So Nice Smell.......
I love this sweater! It is just perfect for me.....except that I just hand-washed it and it stinks.......It actually smells like a wet dog. I have it laying on top of my dryer and I am at the totally opposite end of the house, and I can smell it...
I am not going to give up on it. I am going to wash it again and let is soak awhile, maybe add some fabric softener. Has anyone else noticed this smell when washing the sweater? I have ordered from LL Bean for over 45 years, and never have I had any sort of issue. I will let you know if a second wash helps.

Cashmere Crew
This is the third or fourth Cashmere Crew I have gotten from LL Bean, and I love them. They are soft and warm. If properly dried, they retain their shape and character even though I "abuse" them by machine washing them in cold normal cycle with similar colors. They don't seem to pill like the Shetlands and of course are not scratchy.

Not up to par with my past LLBean purchases
It’s not up to llbean’s usually high standards. Had pilling on it already, and some bad stitching on one sleeve seam. Also some black lint stuff. Maybe I got a returned one that has been worn.
I like the sizing and the color.
