THEY MIGHT BE PERFECT
These boots might just be perfect. A bit much for my home in San Diego but perfect for my winter trip to Norway. I’ve been wearing them around the house to break them in prior to my adventure and they are just pretty darn comfortable. I ordered a half-size up to accommodate heavier woolen socks and am hoping for a rainy day or two prior to my winter trip to fully “test” them. Stay tuned and I’ll keep you posted.

Since this is July 2024 and these are winter boots, realize that i am judging more by visual experience than actual living experience. One: I do not like the white edged bottoms. It seems too basketball style for me. Two: I did try these on as soon as I got them and wore them a while.Since I had ordered shoes from LLBean before, I was confident of the fit. The fit really seems to be right on. With the reduced price, I found this to be an adequate purchase. Thank you for being consistent in your workmanship.

Simple boots for cold weather
I originally ordered my true size. Found them too small so ordered up a size; quite satisfactory. The appearance of these boots is basic, will work for many situations. Zipper is stiff, will need to wax that. Some of the leather is also stiff; I may ask our local shoe repairman to soften it some.

Great boot, and I loved the reduced price. Very comfortable, and easy to put on with the side zip. I ordered a half size up, to accommodate bulky winter socks. Worked like a charm!

Too tight, but otherwise a nice sturdy ankle boot
I really wanted these to work— would have been perfect here in the PNW woods. But I have a high instep and they were quite difficult to get on, and tight even with a very thin sock. For someone with a narrow foot they would be great. They look sturdy and well made, and if the fit was better I would definitely have kept them. Maybe going up 1/2 size would help, but I am returning them. Wish they had worked.

Runs short!
This are nice boots for transitional weather but they run very short! I wear a 9 or 9 1/2 and purchased them in a 9 1/2. I've been trying to get them to work for 2 years, now, wearing them for a short time. This week I wore them all day and am now limping around with a sore big toe. Sadly, they're going to Goodwill. So, buy them at least 1/2 size larger than your largest size.
