hiking buddies
this is my second pair of these sneakers. i walk/ hike several miles a day in all types terrain. i have crossed small creeks and come out dry if the water is not over the tops ( you couldn’t stand in the water). they last for a long time. i love them. it is one of a few choices i can buy in wide and are comfortable on long hikes.

The heel is wide and my foot slips.
I have this shoe in the hiking boot and ordered the shoe because I of how much I like the boot. I ordered the same size and width in the shoe as I did in the boot. Unfortunately, the two do not fit the same. I have a wide foot, and typically need a wide shoe. The toe box of the shoe fits fine, but the heel of the shoe does not taper, which causes my heel to slip sideways and up and down.

Absolutely hate the redesign
I've bought many pairs of these in the past and loved them, the newest pair is absolutely horrible (and way more expensive). They feel very cheap, are a lot lighter and lace up lower so that when I walk they don't stay on my feet. Epic fail... I guess now I'll have to hunt for something else to wear everyday for work. 😞

Excellent for the icy harbor walk!
Great for all seasons! They fit immediately upon putting my feet into the sneaker with no break-in needed! They are lighter than I thought they would be given that they are a snow sneaker. I walk a harbor walk year round and it gets icy in the winter. These sneakers have been great for walking the harbor this winter! Definitely worth a try!
