LL Bean Adventure 50 Sleeping Back is top quality.
The LL Bean Adventure 50 Sleeping Bag is high quality and worked out great on a three day canoe trip in western Maine with temperatures 65 degrees and higher. Very light weight and packable for long portage on the river. Would highly recommend this.

Great for summer backpacking and camping
50 degrees might be a little optimistic for this bag, but it's a nice, summer-weight bag otherwise. I think if I was expecting it to get down into the 50s overnight, I'd just wear a little something to bed and this would be fine. I got this for summer camping and backpacking and it fits the bill great! Packs down to about the size of a football, and is pretty lightweight. Very glad I got it.

Great hut sleeping bag.
I used this bag in the AMC huts in the white mountains NH. The bag is easy to carry and packs small. Would definitely recommend it.

Buy with caution.
The good = long. The bad = surprisingly narrow from top to bottom. Not great. One of the more disappointing L.L.Bean branded products.

Very compact
The bag seems correctly rated for 50 degrees. It is very light and compact yet warm. It packs easily into the bag provided.

Compact and rated accurately
I used this for a 6 day trip in northern CA. My other sleeping bag was too big/took up far too much space in my luggage. This sleeping bag is compact and worked so well for me. It was a car camping trip, but in my cabin which was unheated this sleeping bag and a pillow was all I needed* for bedding. Temps got as low as 45 on some nights, but I was comfy. I am a warm sleeper so maybe that helped. This was perfect for me. *Next time I'll bring a pad but this was fine as far as keeping me warm.
