Our doubly cozy down coat -- we added plush sherpa fleece to our iconic weather-resistant down coat for extraordinary cozy warmth when temperatures dip.

Runs large
This coat runs large, and is quite boxy. Since i have another LLBean coat in a medium, that is the size I ordered. It was too big, so I returned it for a different coat in a small, which is a perfect fit.

Women's Mountain Down Coat w/ Sherpa - is great!
After taking a lot of time to research the best options and having worn the coat multiple times in the lowest of temperatures - single digits, I am very pleased with my selection. The coat is very warm even with the recent biting winds. The sherpa makes for a cozy fit, but note it is only in the hood and upper torso area. I also like the elasticized wrist feature as it keeps the wind out and my hands warm. The 2 double large side pockets (top and side openings) are a great feature. An interior pocket would have been a nice complement but not truly necessary. The zipper appears very sturdy and can open at the bottom for a more comfortable car ride. The overall fit is great, and the coat is roomy enough to add an additional layer if necessary.

Perfect combo of cozy and lighter weight.
I ordered this coat in blue for my daughter who is away at school, and walking back-and-forth between buildings. It is super cozy and warm, but lightweight enough not to be bulky and heavy. Very pleased with it.

Good fit and warmth, not very sturdy.
I've had this coat for a month. It's very warm and I have a hard time finding a comfortable petite fit. Unfortunately the down has started poking through already and a sleve got caught on some sticks and tore really easily. I don't think it will last like I'm used to LLBean products usually do.
