Our heaviest-weight flannel, now available in Slightly Fitted. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Not the heavy chamois, but nice
When I ordered this, I was expecting another of the classic chamois shirts I like so well. This one isn’t it. It is, however, a very comfortable and soft flannel shirt. Advertising two very different products as ‘chamois’ is either an oversight or a mistake in judgement from this customer’s point of view. This, the three stars for what I was hoping to be another 5 star chamois shirt.
