This hard-wearing, but soft, fleece-lined heavyweight hooded sweatshirt will keep the cold out and the warmth in year after year.
The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.
- 91% cotton, 9% polyester.
- 100% polyester fleece lining; sleeves are lined with 100% polyester taffeta.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Triple-needle stitching adds durability.
- Body is lined with soft berber fleece for extra warmth and comfort.
- Taffeta-lined sleeves for easy on/off.
- Zip front.
- Specially-designed hood fits well even over a baseball cap.
- Ribbed trim at cuffs and hem.
- Locker loop.
- Underarm gussets for added mobility.
- Front pockets, one with interior security pocket.

MY FAVORITE SWEATSHIRT
I love the lined sleeves. It makes it a lot easier to put on. When you get older, you need all of the help you can get. It’s perfect for working outside in below freezing weather while running a snowblower. It keeps you warm while not causing your body to overheat. This is my second purchase of the same sweatshirt. That’s how much much I like it.

Soooo comfy
I had a very similar (maroon) LL Bean jacket from 10+ years ago that I "wore to death" (and still do when working outside). I love this new jacket. Soooo comfy. It is an excellent wear for early spring grandkids soccer games !

Warm and thick and soft.
An excellent, heavyweight hooded fleece, warm and thick and soft. One of gthe hand pockets has an inner pocket with hook and loop tab closure, to secure a phone or car keys.

Best Hooded Zip-up Fleece Lined Sweatshirt
The men's Katahdin iron works hooded fleece lined sweatshirt is remarkably warm and well made. I purchased one in navy for my husband and he loves it. It was perfect for the colder than usual winter we had this year.

Don’t hesitate. Long lasting durable sweatshirt.
I have 2 of these sweatshirts! They are amazing. They last forever. My first one is like 15 years old. Just ordered the second one. Don’t hesitate. I bought the men’s to assure more room as I love to layer.

Not as good as my original Katahdin sweatshirt
replaced my old sweatshirt, and the quality is not as good. The primary difference is in the fleece lining. It's just not as warm as the old one.
