This hard-wearing, but soft, flannel-lined heavyweight hooded sweatshirt will keep the cold out and the warmth in year after year.
The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.
- 91% cotton, 9% polyester.
- 100% cotton flannel lining; sleeves are lined with 100% polyester.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Body is lined with soft flannel for extra warmth and comfort.
- Taffeta-lined sleeves for easy on/off.
- Triple-needle stitching adds durability.
- Front kangaroo pocket has interior security pocket.
- Locker loop.
- Specially-designed hood fits well even over a baseball cap.
- Underarm gussets for added mobility.

And last but not least. Made a few purchases to keep warm and comfortable. This is the one I’ve worn the most. And I think the most durable. What 93% cotton. Doesn’t itch. And is warm indoors and out. About the sleeve lining; it’s much easier to slide this hoodie on with the arm lining as it is. I’m old and fighting to get something on is not on my to do list. I like being able to scrunch the hoodie strings tight and make myself a neck warmer and feel snuggly. This hoodie is good in 30* weather, with a layer, hat, and gloves. The hat makes a difference. Got the tall and like the longer length.
