Nice material, but recommendation
The material and pattern are very nice feeling and looking. LLBean, if you read this, and perhaps if other customers find it helpful, if you are selling a product, don't put a picture of what it is NOT included, which is then described in the the product details way below all the other information. I have bought LLBean comforter covers before, many years ago, and they came with the sham // things have changed. Not big deal, but why not mentioning it.

Very soft and cozy, and a nice look for Autumn.
I washed and dried the comforter cover prior to first use. There was a lot of fuzz in the dryer afterwards but no pilling on the cover itself. It's very soft and cozy and looks very nice on the bed (and again, no pilling now that it's on the bed). I bought the queen size and the fit is good (not too much extra space leftover like some covers can have).

Absolutely perfect for all seasons
I will admit I was a little dubious about the flannel because I am a hot sleeper, but it is very soft, not too hot even in summer and we love it.

Failed after one year and 4 weeks
I bought this in January of ‘23 and kept it on the bed through the end of winter. Put it back on in November and one of the inside corner ties broke in February ‘24. We probably should’ve washed it more if anything, so I suspect it wasn’t from over laundering.
