Our twist on a classic, with authentic cable designs from the Aran Islands. This updated boyfriend sweater is made from crispy washed cotton yarns that are substantial and reach further into the seasons than traditional wool.
We chose densely-knit cotton yarns to give our cable sweater three-season appeal. It's more relaxed than traditional fisherman sweaters, offering supreme comfort and easygoing style.

BULKY and uncomfortable.
I really wanted to love this. Sweater is very rough and bulky, bunched up extra material under the arms, which is uncomfortable. Added 10 lbs to my frame 🖼️.
I love the worn look in the pics, but it feels anything but! I got a small 5ft 4 inches. 130 pds.
And the arm holes are way too big and lots of bulky material there, makes it a NO.
Going back.🥲🥲🥲

nice sweater
Love the color and feel of the cotton yarns. It is a bit loose-knit, so sags over time. I am hoping that a turn in the dryer and/or washing will help tighten it up a bit. Great price (on sale), so no regrets.

Signature Fisherman’s Sweater
I bought this sweater last January. I so surprise when I open it, ‘cause it looks so big. I thought they made a mistake in sizing. I still check it and it’s really so big on me. I like my sweater big, but this is too much on me. I’ve been buying from LLBean for more than 20 years. My size is supposed to be small but I want a loose fitting sweater. So I’m getting the large size if it’s made outside the USA. I have some of these designs from previous years, but this sweater is way too big. It’s never worn. I’m probably returning it and buy the smaller size.

Warm, comfortable sweater
I have problems with wool, so it's always nice to find a heavier-weight sweater in cotton. This chunky knit will see me stylishly through many Michigan winters.

Warm, thick cotton sweater
Warm as wool and made of thick cotton yarn. It looks like the sweater has been bleached with a white color on top of the yarn. I have not washed it yet, but I got alot of use out of it in the fall and winter. The sweater is not soft but it is very warm and long.

Beautiful cotton sweater
This is a beautiful all cotton sweater that can be worn all year. It's heavy enough for colder days but can be worn on cooler summer days. The stitches are perfect & the pattern is very different from most cable knit sweaters. I also like the color because it isn't an in your face color.
