With a pull-on waistband, our most comfortable chino pants have an easygoing feel and just the right amount of stretch. In an ankle-length style that looks and feels great all day long.
It's not easy to make a classic even better, but we did. First, we added a touch of stretch to traditional cotton and washed it for exceptional softness and ease. Then, we added a full elastic waistband for comfort worthy of lounging and style ready for any occasion.

Ankle pants-great quality!!
These pants are so nice! They are a sturdy weight and perfect ankle length. They are great for the spring weather we are having in Tennessee and I look forward to wearing them this summer too. Very cute with sneakers or Hey Dudes. My favorite part is the drawstring. Front pockets are nice. I will be buying more. Perfect fit-I’m 5’4” and about 117 lbs and small is perfect fit. I would love a pair in denim!

LLBean has some ODD color choices
I love these pants (have 4 pair) but the "coal dust" color wasn't what I was expecting. The pants had a greenish hue. I was expecting more of a blackish color. I sent them back as I hated the color......

Third pair!
These fit great!!! I got what I called "summer jeans" first - and I loved the length and fit. Then I ordered a slate color and a khaki color. I have sadly gained 20 pounds and my nine pair of Perfect Fit Pants are all too tight - so while I'm working on losing the weight, I knew I would turn back to LLBean to help. These are slimming and really nice - love them. Comfy elastic waist - and I learned from my first pair that the Regular is exactly the right length for me - they are a "shorter" pant so at 5'2", they hit my ankle and it's perfect. Normally I wear petite in LLBean but I read the sizing on my first pair - the "jeans" - and the subsequent ones have been just a tad longer but still just right with sandals or flats.

TOUGH TO WEAR
I am a fan of cotton and don't believe in new technology fabric that supposedly wick sweat; As a sportsperson, land and water, I have not seen fabric smart enough to wick your sweat, instead they leave the skin wet and smelly.
That said, this cotton pant is ROUGH, STIFF, AND HARD to wear. Maybe because it's too thick. But after trying it a couple of times, it's sitting on the shelf and now ready to be donated to Goodwill because I just can't wear something so uncomfortable.

comfortable pants
Purchase one pair (coal dust). Either I got shipped the olive by mistake or the coal looks more like green. Either way I ordered another pair. Deep sand. I wish you had in a blue color. These pants are perfect for my retirement. Comfortable. Dress up or down.
