Poor Quality Pockets
I have two pair of these pants and in both pair I quickly got holes in the pockets. The fabric for the pockets is terrible quality - thin and quite flimsy. I have a several other pairs of LL Bean Jeans that have lasted for years without holes in the pockets because the pocket fabric is better quality. Why ruin an expensive pair of pants with sub-par pockets?

Warm but tight waist.
I was really looking forward to having a lined pair of jeans. After washing however, the waist shrank so they are a little too tight around the waist. Other than that, they are ok. I’m hoping that they will loosen up with wear.

Inconsistent sizing
Wanted to like these, but the fit is miserable. I ordered my usual Original Perfect Fit pant size (P-M). Last order was 1 year ago and this time wanted the fleece lining. Ordered P-med and large. The medium was a struggle to pull up around my waist and the length is about 3-4" longer than my others. The large was huge and would not stay up. There was a hole in one of the pockets Waist band is not as comfortable as the original. Leg end width is ridiculously large and not great for winter, especially when ordering a lined pant. Where is the quality consistency that LLB is known for---very disappointed.

They really ARE perfect!
