Overall poor quality
I initially found these jeans difficult to get past my knees, but shortly discovered the zipper wasn’t down all the way. Much coaxing eventually achieved this, but this zipper issue immediately raised my suspicion about the overall quality of the garment. Substantial zippers and similar quality buttons are essential to garments made of denim and other heavy weight fabrics. This zipper was poor quality for any weight fabric, as was the button. The denim was not substantial as I’d hoped; perhaps these were never meant to be “real“ blue jeans. I did order the wrong size (I needed a petite), but even if they’d fit perfectly, I wouldn’t keep them. Not LL Bean quality. Very disappointing.

Fabulous ‘older woman’ fitted jeans
These jeans are wonderful! The fabric has a tiny bit of stretch, the fit is just right amount of coverage without being baggy, the length is perfect. (I love, medium tall)

Good style but tiny waist
The size 16 for great except for the waist, so I ordered the next size up. Now I can zip them and the waist is fine, however they're baggy now, especially in the hips and thighs. I don't know what to do. What style works?¿

Weirdly awful
I ordered a size up and could barely get them on. I couldn’t button. Also the material is weird and scratchy - very artificial feeling. For $80 I expect more. Sadly, much of Bean’s things are no longer of the high quality we experienced for over 50 years.

Summer Weight Jeans with a Tiny Waist
For over 25 years I've bought LLBean pants and jeans because the sizes were consistent. What happened? I just ordered a larger size because the waist on the smaller size is too tight. They fit well elsewhere. 1% elastane is not very stretchy. Also, these are thin pants with only 68% cotton. Good for summer, but did not work for this Chicago winter, which was mild this year. Maybe I should consider the 207 vintage jeans. LLBean, please keep your sizing predictable. It shouldn't change every year and from one style to the next.
