Not as dressy neck as previous version
Bought the jewelneck tee in white to replace a previous one that I liked very much but had shrunk. Like that they made them longer to allow for shrinkage (despite the claims, they ALWAYS shrink in length and I followed all washing instructions). Unfortunately, they widened the edging along the neck and it no longer looks as dressy. It was also sewn a little off. Sending it back.

Truer to old sizing!
LOVE a new color!!! The new sizing didn’t affect this style as much. Fabric is wonderful as always. Thanks LL Bean for a great color! Gray would be nice too. It’s not just for men.

Great cotton top
Nice heavy weight cotton top. After washing the sleeve hits right above the elbow. I wish they made these tops in a 3/4 length sleeve also.

Nice, but …
Very comfortable. I’m happy with it but I don’t like it as much as previous Bean Tees. It’s a bit too chunky and I would have preferred a color that’s closer to blue-green or turquoise, though no such colors were offered. (I still have an older Bean tee—in such a color—that I like much better and that fits better, but it’s getting worn out.) I’m not sorry I bought this one but I won’t buy another one like it; I would absolutely buy another one like my old one—maybe several!

Wonderful shirts
I now own one shirt in each color, I like them that much. The only drawback is that they are made of cotton, high quality to be perfectly clear, but cotton nevertheless. Cotton shrinks. There is little to nothing that can be done about that fact. It is the nature of the beast. I order the shirts at least one size larger than I really need; and after the first wash/dry cycle, they fit perfectly and wear very well.
